Heys welcome Bacup Borough to Adie Moran Park on Boxing Day (3pm) looking to build on their win at Steeton last Saturday.
The victory halted a three game losing run in the League and gave Matt Barnes a win in his first game as Manager.
The new Heys boss has stated his aim is achieving promotion this season and knows his side will have to build on the weekend result and put a run together to push them back in amongst the leading pack.
Heys are presently seven points off the top four and with the season reaching the midway point results over the next four or five games may well shape the direction for the remainder of the season.
Bacup are presently third from bottom of the table, but given the nature of the division this season, are only five points behind Heys, albiet having played two games more.
Having come eighth last season, Brent Peters will have hoped for a crack at promotion this season and it is not beyond the realms of possibility if his side can put a run together.
Bacup are without a win in three games, but Peters' teams are always a tough nut to crack.
Heys will have to repeat their weekend performance levels if they are to advance their ambitions and celebrate Xmas with another three points.
