After securing Premier Division safety on Saturday Heys will be looking to maintain the feelgood factor when they travel to Longridge Town on Wednesday night (7.45pm).
The weekend draw with Burscough was significant for earning Heys the point that killed off any relegation fears. However, the nature of the performance was equally pleasing following the disappointing midweek showing against Ashton Athletic.
It is one they will look to build on now the pressure is off and safety is assured. The weekend point moved Heys up to 15th place with 41 points from 34 games and with scope to move further upwards Heys boss Matt Barnes will not want his side to let this landmark campaign fizzle out.
A mid table finish would put a gloss on the season whilst maintain momentum ahead of the start of the Macron Cup next month.
Longridge are currently tenth in the table with 49 points from 35 games. They come into the game on the back of a 3-1 loss at Macclesfield on Saturday.
After a run around the turn of the year of one defeat in seven, five of which were won, their recent form has been patchy with one win in the last five, with three defeats. Having been in the top half of the table all season they will not want to let that slip in these final weeks and will be looking to repeat their 4-2-win Adie Moran Park back in October.
