That’s how it feels at the moment as the sides prepare to meet for the third time in a week tomorrow. However, after two Emirates FA Cup ties, there is a slight change of scenery in that this match will be in the NW Counties Premier Division with the Merseysiders hosting at their Jericho Lane ground.

South Liverpool will doubtless go into the game with their confidence high having emerged victors in the FA Cup tie. After a 2-2 home draw last Saturday, they triumphed 2-1 in Tuesday night’s replay at Adie Moran Park. In neither game were they behind and they be looking to maintain that pattern tomorrow as they go in search of League points. South have only played four Premier Division matches in which they have collected four points with a win, a draw and two defeats. They were winning 1-0 at Droylsden in their other League game but the match was abandoned due to a floodlight failure.

Heys too will be looking to pick up some points. Its’ been a stop/start opening to the season so far with six points collected from six League games, with just the one win. It leaves Heys seven points off the play off spots at present, something that was a target for them at the outset after just missing out last season. It’s still early days and Heys started slowly last season, but the Management will be looking for an uptick in form over the coming weeks.

Both teams will certainly know all there is to know about each other, and the previous two games have been based on fine margins. Which way will it go tomorrow.?

Option - At M62 Junction 6, M57/Knowsley Expressway, leave M62 take 2nd left onto A5300 Knowsley Expressway to end. Turn right onto A562/A561 follow signs for Airport. Stay on A561 (Aigburth Road). Turn onto Jericho Lane (signposted for Otterspool) Pass (Junior/Vets) South Liverpool pitch on left onto Otterspool Promenade roundabout, turn left onto Otterspool Drive. Hub car park first left.

Nearest Bus Route to Ground: 500 direct from City Centre and Liverpool Airport. The 82 route also passes nearby at Aigburth Vale. Cross City Routes available on 60, 61 and 68 from Bootle to Aigburth Vale. The Ground is a ten minute walk along Jericho Lane from Aigburth Vale
