Its FA Vase Day on Saturday as Heys travel to West Didsbury and Chorlton in the Second Round.
Ryan Hutchinson’s side will travel across Manchester to face their former NW Counties League rivals who were laterally moved to the Midlands League Premier Division in the summer. They are presently tenth in the table with 21 points from 16 games. Didsbury have lost their last three matches and are without a win four.
Having reached the quarter finals last season Didsbury were given a bye to the second round this season whilst Heys triumphed 2-1 in the 1st Round at Charnock Richard having themselves had a bye from the Qualifying Rounds.
Heys last trip to Didsbury, in April, ended in a 5-2 defeat that also brought to an end their run of ten consecutive League wins. They make the trip this time on the back of six consecutive wins and will be aiming to make sure that history does not repeat itself and they can progress into the next round.
The Winners of the tie will receive £900, the losers £275.
