Heys pre-season build up continued at Adie Moran Park tonight with a 4-0 win over Stockport Georgians.
All four goals came in a first half in which Heys dominated.
They took the lead in the 15th minute when a low cross from the right fell at the feet of Louis Holt who tapped home from close range.
Two minutes later Heys increased their lead. Holt, this time turned provider as he picked out Bryson Appleton who fired a shot in from 22 yards.
It was all Heys and they added a third goal in the 26th minute when Josh Tinker was played through on goal before sliding it past the keeper.
On the half hour Heys made it four when Alistair Bracken, after some wonderful skill in the box, was upended. From the spot Holt put the penalty away to the keepers left, sending him the wrong way.
The second half proved a much tighter affair but Heys were still a threat, although chances were harder to come by against a spirited Georgians side.
A good night’s work for Heys though whose next match is at home to Whitchurch Alport on Saturday (3pm)
