Heys trip to Northallerton this afternoon ended in a 1-0 defeat.

The Northern League Division One side clinched the win via a 21st minute goal. Heys conceded possession in their own box and when the ball was worked back into the danger area the hosts Player Coach Dale Hopson was on hand to supply the finish.

Northallerton were the better side in the first half, playing some good football, as Heys struggled to get any consistency in their passing play or create any meaningful openings.
Heys were better in the second half and showed plenty of endeavour but still lacked any real threat to enable the home side to claim victory.

Its two wins and two defeats so far for Heys in pre-season which continues on Tuesday night at Adie Moran Park when Stockport Georgians are the visitors. (7.45pm)
