Heys host Doncaster City at Adie Moran Park tomorrow in the FA Vase 2nd Qualifying Round (3pm).
Originally drawn away the game has been switched to Prestwich due the visitors groundsharing. With home advantage Heys will be hoping to build upon their run of three successive victories in the League as they look to progress in the Vase. The wins form part of a wider run of form that has seen only one defeat in their last seven games.
Heys won 2-0 at 1974 Northwich Victoria in the last round and will be looking to advance beyond the Qualfying stages for the first time in three years.
Doncaster compete in the Northern Counties East Division One. Formed in 2022 this is their first season at semi-professional level. They are currently 15th in the table and their season has run similarly to Heys results wise, with 13 points from eleven games.
They have had some difficulties in recent weeks with players and Manager departures but that has not stopped them picking up points. They came from two goals down to score three times in the last six minutes and win 3-2 at second placed Harrogate Railway last Saturday and secured a point in a 0-0 draw with Crowle Colts in midweek.
In the opening round Doncaster won on penalties away at Abbey Hey after a 1-1 draw, despite playing much of the game with ten men.
The Winners receive £725 , with losers £225.
The draw for the First Round Proper is on Tuesday at 1pm.
Admission: Adults £7, Concessions £4, Under 16's £1, Season Tickets are not valid for this fixture.
Due to the late change of venue no programme will be issued for this game.
