
Heys Under 21’s defeated Hopwood Hall 3-1 on Sunday to secure a place in the promotion play-off game. Two goals from David Kerrigan and another from Job Dengoue gave Heys their eleventh successive victory to ensure they finished second, on goal difference from Bury.
The win means Heys will now face the runners up in Championship Division “B”, which still hasn’t been completed, for a place in the Premier Division next season. Keep an eye on the website and social media for updates.
Meanwhile Heys youngsters will host Ashton Town in the Championship Division’s Cup semi-final at Adie Moran Park on Sunday 26th April, 2pm.
