Rob Worrall scooped a hat-trick of Awards at Heys Presentation Evening on Saturday.
The midfielder, who played 48 games during the season, scoring eight goals, was the beating heart of the side throughout the campaign with some inspirational play that also saw him collect nine Man of the Match Awards, from opposing clubs.
His contributions were equally recognised by those at the club as Rob won the Management Player of the Year, Players Player and also the Fans Player Award.
In the latter he beat Bryson Appleton who scored 13 goals in 49 appearances and collected eleven Man of the Match Awards. Club Captain James Badrock came third after an outstanding season. The centre half played 49 times and scored five goals and remarkably for a player in his position did not receive a single caution. His Captaincy was also regularly praised by match officials throughout the season.
In other Awards, Takura Sambizi collected the Golden Boot Award for finishing top scorer with 19 goals.
The Under 21’s still face two Cup Finals in the coming weeks but their success was also recognised. Defender Jace Osborne, who also stepped up to make twelve first team appearances, won the Players Player of the Year award.
The Managers Player of the Year award went to Lucas Bancroft, who himself figured 32 times at senior level.
The Golden Boot went to David Kerrigan who has found the back of the net 20 times so far.
