Heys home game with Litherland REMYCA, which was postponed last weekend has been re-arranged.

It will now be played on Tuesday 22nd March at Adie Moran Park, 7.45pm kick off.

There has been a glut of activity in the last couple of weeks at the club.

Sadly, Lee Grimshaw has moved on, joining AVRO. Lee, recently passed the 100 game milestone for the club and departs having scored 41 goals in 104 games. We wish Lee all the best for the future and thank him for his great service in a Heys shirt.

Heys have welcomed two new signings to the club in Oumar Camara, a striker who joins from AVRO and Rhian Hellwell, a left sided midfielder who arrives from Runcorn Linnets. Both made their debuts at Northwich at the weekend with Rhain named Heys Man of the Match.

The big news is that Greg Daniels has committed to Heys for the remainder of the season and the 2022-23 campaign.

The popular forward, who joined the club in October from Bury AFC, has signed an 18-month contract.

It’s a big boost for the club and Manager Matt Barnes as he begins planning for next season. Daniels has been a key figure in the side since his arrival. He has scored three goals in his fifteen appearances and his influence across the pitch has been reflected in three Man of the Match Awards.

There was more good news as Nathan Emery has started light training again following his double leg break and we look forward to seeing him back in a Heys shirt next season.

Meanwhile, Lee Knight and Oscar Campbell have both been released by the club and we wish them well for the future.
