There will be a Memorial Game for former Heys goalkeeper Paul Murphy on the 6th July at Hollinwood Cricket Club, Failsworth, kick-off 2.30pm.

It is six years since Paul passed away. "Murph" figured between the sticks primarily during Liam Morrissey's reign as manager figuring for both the 1st and Reserves teams and also appeared for the club as recently as the 2011-12 season.

Liam said "The game is between Paul's former team mates, most of them whom played for Heys and the Police team managed by John Foster, who also played at Heys."

There is no admission fee.
