The clubs need no introductions having faced each other numerous times over the years in the Manchester League and more recently in the NW Counties League.

Town were promoted to the Northern Premier League two seasons ago before finishing in a relegation position last season in Division One West. However, thier fourth bottom place earned them a reprieve when the Club Allocations were announced in May.

Prize money for the tie is:
WINNERS RECEIVE £1,125, LOSERS RECEIVE £375

The winners of the tie will be away to Atherton Collieries of the Northern Premier League Division West in the Preliminary Round on 16th August.
