Louis started out with Northern Premier League side Hyde United in the 2016-17 season. He was badly hurt in January 2017; suffering an acute cruciate ligament injury that was to keep him out of the game for the next five seasons. On recovering Louis joined North West Counties League Premier Division side Irlam in the summer of 2022 but moved on to Charnock Richard in late August marking his full debut for the club with two goals.

He left to Join Bamber Bridge in the summer of 2023 but returned to Charnock in September 2024. In all Louis has made 59 appearances for Charnock netting 26 goals.

Louis is cup tied for this weekend, so it set to make his first appearance against Charnock next Tuesday at Adie Moran Park.
