Heys chalked up their eighth successive win with a 2-0 victory at South Liverpool this afternoon.
A Louis Holt penalty after nineteen minutes set Heys on their way after Bryson Appleton had been fouled.
In a game they controlled for long periods, Heys had to wait until the 79th minute to secure the points when Appleton latched onto a Rob Worrall through ball to fire home.
The win moved heys up above West Didsbury into seventh and they are now six points off the play off places with six games to play.
Full report to follow.
Heys are at home to AFC Liverpool on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
