
Heys have entered the St. Annes Trophy, a four team pre-season tournament organised by Tottington United.
The Bury club have launched the competition to mark a return to community football next season where they are set to compete in the Manchester League. They will be managed by two familiar faces in former Heys Joint Manager Ian Hutchinson and one time Reserve Team Manager Tony Hanson.
Joining the hosts and Heys are Elton Vale and Walshaw Sports. The tournament will consist of two semi-finals and a Finals Day with a 3rd/4th Place Play Off and Final. All the games will be played at Tottington's ground.
Heys have been drawn against Walshaw in the semi-final on Wednesday 13th July, 6.45pm. The other tie between the hosts and Elton Vale will be played on Monday 11th July, 6.45pm.
Finals Day will take place on Saturday 16th July with the 3rd/4th Place play off at 12.45pm and the Final at 3.30pm.
