Heys drawn away again in Emirates FA Cup

Heys drawn away again in Emirates FA Cup

STEPHEN HOWARD

Visit to Shildon or Warrington Town if we can win replay - full details plus Match Information for tomorrow night's game

Heys have been drawn away again in the Emirates FA Cup.

If they are successful in the replay at home to South Liverpool on Tuesday night, Heys will travel to Shildon or Warrington Town on 19th September in the Second Qualifying Round. Those two sides drew 2-2 in the North East on Saturday and will replay at Warrington on Tuesday.

Shildon play in the Northern League Division One and are presently third in the table, whilst Warrington are fourth in the Northern Premier League.

Heys have been drawn away in every round this season and in the last eight rounds of the Emirates FA Cup, in which they have competed. Their last home tie was against Bootle in 2023.

However, before Heys can think about the next round they must overcome South Liverpool at Adie Moran Park on Tuesday night (7.45pm) in a First Qualifying Round replay, following Saturday's 2-2 draw on Merseyside.

Match Information is below.
