FA Vase : Heys home to 1874 Northwich

Heys will host 1874 Northwich in the 1st Qualifying Round of the FA Vase.

The tie will be played at Adie Moran Park on Saturday 31st August, 3pm.

1874 were formed in 2012 by the Northwich Victoria Supporters Trust who had become disenchanted with how their club was being run.

Last season they finished 10th in the Premier Division of the North West Counties League.

Somewhat ironically, it was Northwich Victoria who ended Heys hopes in the Vase last season, securing a 2nd round win with a 1-0 replay success after a goalless draw at Adie Moran Park.

The 1874 tie, which is sure to draw a healthy crowd, will provide a stiff test for Heys.

The winners of the game will have home advantage in the 2nd Qualifying round, hosting the winners of the Cammell Laird v Charnock Richard tie.
