Bryson Appleton scored twice to give Heys a superb 2-0 win at Chadderton this afternoon.

The hosts began the day in fourth place in the Premier Division table and held a seven point gap on Heys.

However, Heys dominated the game for long periods, overcoming the loss of striker Louis Holt, with an ankle injury, in the ninth minute.

They took the lead in the 33rd minute when Appleton's 20 yard shot took a deflection and looped over the keeper.

Heys continued to control matters in the second half and doubled their advantage in the 78th minute when a Takura Sambizi shot picked out Appleton who finished from close range and secured a fifth successive win.
