Heys return to action at Padiham on Wednesday night in the NW Counties Premier Division. (7.45pm).

The hosts come into the game in good form. Since the turn of the year they have won four, drew one and lost one of their six League games. Their solitary loss was at home to League Leaders AVRO who secured victory with a 91st minute goal to give them a 1-0 win. With away wins at Congleton Town (2-1) and in their last outing on Saturday, at Wythenshawe Town (1-0) Padiham will go into the game brimming with confidence. They are presently tenth in the table with 40 points from 30 games, with a four points gap on eleventh placed Charnock Richard, they will now be looking to make up the five points on ninth place West Didsbury and consolidate themselves in the top half of the table.

Heys, themselves though will approach the game with optimism. Back to back wins over Longridge Town (2-0) and Vauxhall Motors (1-0) last time out have moved them up to seventh in the table with 48 points from 28 games. They are eight points behind sixth placed AFC Liverpool but have three games in hand on them and will aiming to close that gap and give themselves a chance of breaking into the top six.

Lee O’Brien and James Hampson will hope the ten day break between games hasn’t spoilt their momentum and they can return from a tough trip with the points.

Directions: M65 to junction 8, follow A6068 Clitheroe / Padiham. At traffic lights at the bottom of the hill turn right into Dean Range / Blackburn Road towards padiham. At next junction turn into Holland Street (opp church) then into Well Street to ground.

Parking Facilities: Car Park at ground for Approx 40 cars. Parking on nearby streets if car park is full. If you are planning to travel by minibus then please let us know beforehand. There is no provision for coach parking.

Ground Facilities: Entrance to all fans is via the main turnstile just a short walk up from the car park. The Ruby Civil Arena has a bar in which you can sample a pint of real ale along with various lagers, beers and bottled drinks.

We have 3 large screens in the clubhouse showing Premier League games, and have a small kitchen serving pie and peas, hot dogs, chips and various hot drinks. A candy corner for children to purchase pop, crisps and various sweets is available. We have indoor toilets, also including disabled facilities.

Outside there are male and female toilets, a 100 seater stand, two sheltered covered standing areas. We are also dog friendly!
