Heys return to League action on Tuesday night as they welcome League leaders Silsden to Adie Moran Park.
The Yorkshire side have enjoyed a spectacular start to the season having won all 16 of their League games.
It’s enabled them to open an eleven-point lead at the top of the table over Heys and they already look on their way to securing at least a play-off place if not one of the automatic promotion places.
Their only setbacks thus far have been in knockout football with AFC Blackpool and Burscough lowering their mast in the 1st Division and Macron Cup respectively whilst West Auckland Town defeated them in the FA Vase.
Heys are one of the teams in the chasing pack looking to reel in the visitors and will be looking to halt that 100% record tonight.
Jon Lyons team will be looking to get back to winning ways after seeing their eleven-match unbeaten run ended by Charnock Richard, in the Lancashire Trophy, last Tuesday and then seeing Saturday’s home game with St. Helens Postponed.
Nonetheless, they remain unbeaten in their last nine League games having scored 35 goals in that run, a sequence they will be looking to maintain tonight.
This is one not to be missed.
