Heys return to action on Wednesday night when they travel to Litherland Remyca in the NW Counties Premier Division (7.45pm)

After a blank weekend, Heys Management team of Lee O’Brien and James Hampson will be looking for their side to pick up the momentum that has seen them go ten matches unbeaten in the League and climb into the play-off places.

Heys go into the game in fifth place with 32 points from seventeen games. With matches in hand on all the four sides above them they will be conscious of the need to make those games count and strengthen their position in the leading pack as we head towards the midpoint of the season.

They will face a Litherland side who have continued to progress under Colin McDonald. After a couple of seasons hovering around the bottom of the table Remyca came tenth last season and have maintained that momentum this time around. They go into the game with 29 points from twenty-one games, of which thirteen have been away from home.

Remyca will be looking to bounce back from 4-3 home defeat to Chadderton on Saturday, a game where they lead two-nil at the interval. The loss but a blemish on a run of three wins in their previous four games. The game saw William Dunne on target to maintain his position as top scorer for the club, with eight goals to add to his five Man of the Match awards.
