Match Preview

Heys step up their pre-season preparations on Saturday when they travel to AVRO for their opening friendly fixture.

The game against their former Manchester League rivals will bring them up against familiar faces as the Oldham side will be managed by Lee O’Brien and James Hampson who both figured for Heys last season.

The match will be played at AVRO’s impressive new ground, the Vestacare Stadium on Whitebank Road Oldham, OL8 3JH, kick off 2.30pm.
