Title challengers go head to head again this Saturday at Grimshaw Park

Heys and AVRO put their title ambitions to the test again this Saturday when they meet at Grimshaw Park (2pm).

Jon Lyons' side took the spoils last Saturday in winning 5-0 at the Lancaster Club but the Heys boss will be cautioning his team against an AVRO backlash in this weekend's return.

AVRO Chairman and Manager Rob Fuller took to Twitter last Saturday night to express his disappointment at that reverse and stating three points this time round were a must. Indeed, a defeat would put a question mark against the Failsworth's sides hopes even though by no means ruling them out of the equation with so may of the top teams still to meet each other before the end of the campaign.

For Heys part they know the game represents an opportunity to strike another blow against one of their rivals in a game that is one of their matches in hand on the current leaders Royton.

Heys go into the game in fine form with five successive wins behind them and having taken 22 points from their last nine games. They will hope to have Conor Landers and Martin Love, both missing last week, available to add to the squad.

With Hindsford hosting Walshaw and Wythenshawe Amateurs home to Dukinfield points are again going to be dropped at the top. Heys and AVRO wil be looking to capitalise on what shoud prove another absorbing afternoon.
