Woodcock returns to the fold as Assistant Manager

Heys Reserves have been given a tough start to their new life in the Manchester League Premier Division.

Having been promoted as 1st Division Champions last season, Heys will travel to Premier
Division Champions Rochdale Sacred Heart when the season begins on 12th August.

It forms part of a tough start which includes games against the likes of AVRO, Royton, Monton and Hindsford, traditionally amongst the strongest sides, in the first month of the campaign.

Certainly by the end f the opening monthTony Hanson's side should have a good idea of where they stand. To this end, Phil Woodcock, who served Heys for many years and has a wealth of experience of the Premier Divsion, has joined the Reserves set up as Assistant Manager.
