John Lyons Senior

The thoughts of everyone at Heys are with manager Jon Lyons and his family following the passing of his grandfather, John Lyons Senior, aged ninety-six, last weekend, who was Heys' oldest supporter.

John Senior spent a lifetime involved in football with Massey Ferguson, Trafford Park and Hindsford, and was a manager with Little Hulton Lions Juniors Club for several years.

He was an inspiration to both Jon and his father, John Junior, and will be much missed.
