Heys prepare for Walshaw derby
Local rivals face each other at Radcliffe tomorrow night
Heys face Bury rivals Walshaw Sports tomorrow night in their penultimate match of the season.
The game will be played at Radcliffe Borough's Stainton Park round on Pilkington Road, M26 3PE, kick off 7.15pm.
The sides produced a ten goal thriller at Adie Moran Park back in September with Heys winning 6-4.
Since then their seasons have taken different paths but both have ended with silverware.
Heys have ended up as Champions whilst Walshaw won the Kenyon Cup last week.
That success capped a fine second half of the season for Walshaw. Rooted in the relegation zone at Christmas they have been one of the form teams of the competition since and have dispelled any fears of the drop with games to spare.
In what may prove to be the last Manchester League meeting, with Heys hopeful of progressing to the NW Counties, both sides will be looking to gain the local bragging rights.
