Heys head to Holker

Heys make the long trip to Cumbria on Saturday to face Holker Old Boys (3pm).

After last Saturday’s excellent win at Whitchurch, Manager Jon Lyons will be looking for more of the same from his team.

Heys set a benchmark with their performance last weekend and it’s one they have to maintain if they are to make the top six.

They face a Holker side who after a slow start to the season have made steady progress after a change of Manager during the course of the season with former player Brian Dawson taking over as 1st team coach following the departure of Scott Redhead.

They have made steady progress under his leadership and sit 16th in the table with 34 points from 26 games. Their defeat at Cheadle last week ended a run that had seen only defeat in the previous six.
