Bruce and Photiou receive Club Milestone Awards

Lee Bruce and Darius Photiou have received awards recognising their passing of club appearance milestones.

Heys Chairman Neil Gilmore presented them with awards recognising their service before last weekend's home game with Holker Old Boys,

Lee (main picture) has passed 100 games for Heys. He joined the club from Walshaw and is now in his fourth season with us. In two of those three seasons he has finished top scorer. The one year he didn't saw him miss a large swathe of games with injury but he returned to top score with 21 goals last season.

Darius (pictured below) has passed 150 appearances and is now in his sixth season with the club. He turned up for training and asked for a trial in the summer of 2013 and immediately established himself as first choice right back. Although, work commitments have reduced his appearances in the last couple of seasons, he remains an integral member of the squad.
