Heys welcome Longridge Town to Adie Moran Park looking to rediscover their form after a run of indifferent results.

The last five games in all competition have yielded just one victory whilst the last three League matches have delivered only a point.

That came from Saturday’s 0-0 home draw with Irlam, where Heys were a long way off the side that entertained so much only a month ago. All teams go rough patches at some point in the season and Heys will be hoping this is theirs.

Indeed, they only need to look at our visitors. Longridge have had a difficult start to the season but are showing signs of finding their feet. They started the season with two wins in their opening three games but then went on a desperate run of nine games without a win, eight of which were lost. Included in that was an 8-0 home defeat to West Didsbury & Chorlton.

However, since then they have begun to pick up some form. They come into the game having picked up eight points from their last five games and in amongst those results have two FA Vase wins at Northallerton (4-2) and Kendal Town (4-3) to their credit. With Dean Ing and Paul Turner, both regular scorers on the Counties circuit, also finding their feet in recent weeks they will provide Heys with a real test.

It’s a measure of how things can quickly turn around. Heys dip follows a start to the season which possibly exceeded expectations with a largely new squad. However, that start showed the quality in the squad and they will be hoping to make this the game where they rediscover that and get back on the winning path.

Licensed bar in the clubhouse serving hot and cold drinks, hot and cold food/snacks and equipped with televisions and seating for around sixty people. Gents and Ladies WC's are also located in the clubhouse. An additional serving hatch is available adjacent to the Seated Stand.

We have a covered standing area for approx 150 people and covered seating for 100.

There's free on-site parking for around 150 cars on the front and down the length of the motorway side of the ground. Car park Stwerards will guide you to a space. Please do not park on Sandgate Road or surrounding streets.

Pyrotechnics are banned. This includes Flares, Fireworks and Smoke Bombs. Anyone carrying pyrotechnics will be subject to a Football Banning order.

Supporters are also reminded that is an offence to enter the Playing Area and doing so can result in a Banning order.

The Club does not allow Dogs into the ground. The only exception to this rule is for Disability Support Dogs.

Please note out of consideration to our neighbours Drums and other Musical Instruments are banned from the ground. Visiting supporters are asked to also refrain from placing flags on the Clubhouse / Seated stand side of the ground.

Directions: M60 to junction 17 head towards Whitefield, take first right into Clyde Avenue and continue over the traffic lights onto Thatch Leach Lane, turn right at the Frigate Public House, go over the motorway bridge, the ground is on the left.
