Heys welcome Eccleshall to Adie Moran Park today for a third home game in five days.
Jon Lyons’s team approach the game looking to maintain their present run of eight games unbeaten in the League. It’s a run that that has yielded 20 points to keep Heys in the thick of the promotion race.
They will also be looking to repeat their success in the League fixture at Eccleshall back in October where a strong first half showing gave them a 5-3 victory. Max White, two Alfie Belcher strikes and a further double from Lee Bruce secured the points, despite a strong second half fightback by the home side.
Having avoided relegation last season Eccleshall have been much improved this season but were rocked last month when their Managers quit, shortly after recording their third straight home win which gave rise to hopes of a mid-table finish.
That still remains a possibility and having retained seventeen goal top scorer Louis Downs they will hope to recover from their recent troubles and climb the table again in the remaining weeks
