Large numbers flock to Heys stand at annual Event

For the second year running Heys Events Team represented the Club at the Annual Prestwich Clough Day Event on 19th May.

After a successful first visit, twelve months ago, Heys expanded their presence this time round with a larger display tent and were rewarded with a higher attendance figure than last year.

The Events Team were on hand to introduce and promote the club to attendees and were encouraged by the larger number of people who had not previously attended a game or been aware the town had a Football Club and who said they would be at Adie Moran Park next season.

The double fronted stand featured a display of club photos tracing the club history from its origins at Heys Road School to the present day and it proved extremely popular bringing back memories for many and with more than one old player finding his face on display.

The Events team also took the opportunity to sell Club Merchandise and held a very popular Tombola to raise funds for the Club Development Fund.

All told the Day was another roaring success for our superb Events team and everyone at the Club would like to thank them for their superb work.

Their remarkable and ceaseless endeavour will continue throughout the Summer with a Car Boot Sale at the Club on 23rd June followed by the Annual Family Fun Day on July 27th ahead of Heys home friendly with Radcliffe FC.
