UPDATE: THE PITCH HAS PASSED A 10.30am INSPECTION AND BARRING A SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN THE WEATHER THE GAME IS ON.
Heys hope to host their first home game of 2018 on tonight, as they welcome Cheadle Town to Adie Moran Park .
Jon Lyons team come into the game in good spirits, unbeaten in their last four outings, with ten points collected. It's a run that has re-established them in the promotion race after a bad run of results in November.
However, with all the leading pack appearing to be hitting top form, it is important for that momentum to continue in the weeks ahead.
Cheadle have been wildly unpredictable this season and sit 14th in the table with 28 points from 22 games.
In their last two games they have lost 5-0 at home to REMYCA but then won 4-1 at Alsager a week last Saturday. The latter result if anything reflects their campaign. The Stockport side have shown what a dangerous side they can be on several occasions but have often followed an impressive result with a setback.
Heys won 4-2 when the teams met at Cheadle earlier in the season, a result they will hope to replicate to set them in a good position ahead of a challenging month.
