Heys travel to League leaders Silsden on Saturday (3pm).
The Yorkshire side have led the table from day one of the season, on the back of winning their first seventeen games, which included an emphatic 4-0 win at Adie Moran park in November. The Yorkshire side were very impressive that night but at the same time Heys did not show up at all.
Since then Silsden have gone onto lose four games but remain out in front of the Hallmark Security League Division One table where they hold a fifteen-point lead.
They are looking good to secure one of the automatic promotion spots although all the teams directly below them have games in hand, including Heys who have four whilst trailing the leaders by nineteen points.
It’s a tough assignment for Heys, who will look to build on Tuesday night's 3-1 home win over Cheadle Town in which Jon Lyons' team showed few signs of rustiness, despite having had a four week lay off. They have now won four games on the bounce in a five match unbeaten run and will be looking to maintain that this weekend.
The game starts a crucial period in the promotion race for Lyons’ team with home games to come in the following three weeks against Sandbach, Alsager and Whitchurch Alport, who are all in the promotion mix.
A Coach will be going to this match leaving Adie Moran Park at 12.15pm. Cost is £15 return. For availability and booking contact Tony Greenhouse on 07920 554076.
