Heys travel to Cammell Laird on Saturday looking to get back to winning ways.
After an eleven match unbeaten run they have suffered back to back defeats in League and Cup. Tuesday nights beating at the hands of League Leaders Silsden ended a nine match unbeaten run in the League and results elsewhere saw Heys drop to third in the table.
The nature of Tuesday's defeat was particularly galling. As impressive as Silsden were Heys did not do themselves justice and Manager Jon Lyons will be looking for a reaction from his players.
Cammell Laird were relegated from the Premier Division last season and opened this campaign with a 3-0 opening day defeat at Adie Moran Park (pictured). That reverse formed part of an inconsistent start to the season but they have since steadily climbed the table on the back of a seven match unbeaten run which was ended by a 3-2 defeat at Oswestry Town on Tuesday night. However, the Birkenhead outfit sit only a point off the play off spots and will also be looking to bet back on track.
