Reserves travel to Stockport

Heys return to Adie Moran Park on Saturday when Royton Town are the visitors, 2pm.

After collecting their first league win at Chapel Town last Saturday, Heys will be looking to to pick up their first home win after defeat in their opening home game against Stockport Georgians three weeks ago.

The match presents a similar challenge, with Royton amongst last season's title challengers and leading the table for much of the second half of the campaign before finishing third.

The Oldham side have started the season in similar form to Heys with four points from three games, suffering their first loss at home to AVRO last week after a victory at East Manchester and an opening day draw at home to Gregorians.

Heys manager Jon Lyons will be looking for an improved display from his side. He believes his side have still not delivered a complete performance in the league thus far and will be looking for his side to push on in the coming weeks as the league season takes shape and the Lancashire Shield gets under way.

Admission is £2/£1.50 (includes programme)

Meanwhile, the Reserves take their 100% record to Stockport Georgians.

Cromley Road has not been the happiest of hunting grounds in recent seasons but Jeff Kavanagh will be looking for his side to continue the swashbuckling form displayed thus far which has brought three wins and 15 goals.

Georgians are still looking for their first points having lost both their opening fixtures to Walshaw and AFC Monton but Heys should read nothing into that. Last season they travelled on the back of a five game unbeaten run and lost 3-2.
