Reserves away at Westbury

Heys welcome Carlisle City to Adie Moran Park on Saturday (3pm).

Manager Jon Lyons will be looking for his team to bounce back to winning ways after last Saturday’s agonising defeat to Alsager, where Heys conceded twice in the final quarter to lose 2-1 despite controlling the game for long periods.

The defeat leaves Heys in 7th place in the table, just outside the play off places and with games coming up against several of the sides above them in the coming month they will be looking to get back on track quickly.

Carlisle, like Heys, are new to the league this season. After a bright start, they make the long trip to Prestwich on the back of four successive league defeats. They are presently 15th in the table, on eleven points from ten games, six points behind Heys.

Manager Jon Lyons will wait for fitness checks on Ash Reece, Danny White and Josh Hill after all three came off last Saturday. With eleven players absent last week though, for a variety of reasons, the Heys boss will have a bigger pool at his disposal this week.

Admission is Adults £4 / Concessions £2/ Under 16’s FREE. Programmes are £1. This week there are columns from Chairman Neil Gilmore, Assistant Manager Ian Hutchinson and Erike Sousa is featured in the new Player profile section. There is coverage of the Reserves, Carlisle and all the usual match reports and stats.

Heys reserves return to Manchester League Division One action at Westbury Sports, kick off 2pm.

Tony Hanson’s side are three points clear at the top of the table after winning their opening seven games and will look to maintain that cushion when they travel to Wellington Barrracks.

Westbury are 10th in the table and come into the game unbeaten in their last three league matches.
