Reserves at Wythenshawe Amateurs in Open Trophy

Prestwich Heys turn their attention to Cup football this Saturday when they host Old Alts in the Gilgryst Cup Quarter Finals (2pm).

After seeing their league match at Hindsford postponed last weekend, Jon Lyons team will be anxious to get back into action after a two week enforced break due to the weather.

Old Alts are presently fifth from bottom of the Premier Division table but have developed a reputation as tricky opponents this season with some notable scalps, witness their 5-1 demolition of Hindsford in the last round of this competition.

Heys have had experience of the challenge Old Alts will provide already this season when they had to come from behind to win 3-2 in a home league fixture back in October.

Admission is £2 Adults / £1 Concessions / Under 16's FREE.

This week's "TOUCHLINER" programme features articles from Jon Lyons and Neil Gilmore and held over from the non published Monton programme Paul Hinchy talks about Goalkeeping and Coaching for Heys whilst Dalton McLaughlin is in Question Time plus the usual results, fixtures, news and tables. All for a £1.

Meanwhile, Heys Reserves are also in cup action as they travel to Wythenshawe Amateurs in the last eight of the Open Trophy.
Heys edged a tight league game earlier in the season 1-0 and will be expecting another tough challenge against a team who were the last team to beat them in a League match back in September 2014.

An announcement regarding prospects for either game going ahead due to the weather will be made as soon as we can on Saturday morning on Twitter and the Website. Non Twitter users can see the feed on the right of the website home page.
