Reserves host Chadderton

Heys head into Cheshire on Saturday to face League leaders Sandbach United. (3pm)

New to the League this season, Sandbach opened the season with two defeats.

However, they have since reeled off four successive wins, the latest a 6-1 win at Eccleshall on Wednesday night.

That run has taken them to the Division One summit on goal difference from City of Liverpool FC and the hosts will approach the game with confidence.

Heys will be looking to pick themselves up after Tuesday’s disappointing loss at Stockport Town. An improved second half show could not mask the deficiencies of the first forty-five minutes.

Manager Jon Lyons will be looking for a much improved all round performance having seen his side previously climb the table in a three match unbeaten run.

Although early days in the season, Heys are 11th, two points off the play off places and five off the summit and will not want to risk that gap opening any further.
