Reserves host Boothstown

Heys travel to City of Liverpool FC tomorrow looking to arrest a run of poor form that has all but ended their promotion hopes.

Whilst, mathematically it is still possible to reach the play offs it would take a real turn of results for it to happen. However, there is still much to play for. Heys have had a good first season in the League and it would be a shame for it to end on a low note.

Manager Jon Lyons will be looking for his side to finish strongly and attain a high position in the table.

Our hosts have also had a great first season. Assured of a play off spot they also still have their eye on an automatic promotion spot whilst having two Cup Finals to look forward to in the Macron Cup and Reusch 1st Division Trophy.

Kick off is 3pm.

Heys Reserves bounced back from successive defeats to defeat Irlam Steel 1-0 on Tuesday to keep their title hopes alive.

They are six points behind leaders Heyside with four games in hand.

Their destiny remains in their own hands but Tony Hanson's side can afford few more slips as they host Boothstown at Adie Moran Park, 2pm.

The teams met only three weeks ago with Heys carving out a narrow 2-1 win. They will hope for a similar outcome tomorrow.
