Reserves travel to Uppermill

Heys welcome Sildsen to Adie Moran Park on Saturday. (3pm)

The Yorkshire side were relegated from the Hallmark Security League Premier Division last season and have had a mixed start to the new season. After going out of the FA Cup to Bridlington, after a replay, they opened their League campaign last Saturday with a 6-0 home hammering of Ashton Town.

Midweek saw them suffer a 1-0 home defeat to another of the League newcomers Charnock Richard bringing them to Prestwich this weekend for their first away League fixture.

They will meet a Heys side looking to erase the memory of losing a three goal lead in the draw at Chadderton whilst drawing on the positives of that performance.

At times Heys were almost unplayable and they will be looking to translate that form into a first home win of the season on Saturday.

Admission is £4 Adults / £2 Concessions/ Under 16’s FREE/ Programmes £1.

Heys Reserves look to maintain their one hundred per cent start to the season when they travel to Uppermill (2pm).

After relegation last season the Pennines side suffered a nightmare start to the season as they lost 7-0 at home to Bolton County.

They have since bounced back with a draw at Chadderton Reserves and a 3-2 home win over Heywood St. James last weekend.

Heys start to the season sees them in 4th place in the table, one point behind the leaders Hollinwood but with a game in hand. Manager Tony Hanson will be looking for his side to at least maintain that position come 4pm on Saturday
