Jeff's lads look to maintain their lead at the top
Table topping Heys Reserves will look to maintain their six point lead when they entertain Stockport Georgians at Adie Moran Park on Saturday.
It's a quick turnaround in fixtures for Jeff Kavanagh's side, coming just five weeks after the sides met at Cromley Road.
However, the Heys boss will be looking for a repeat result as his side ran out 3-1 winners that day. It was however, late in the game before Heys seized the initiative on the back of two Steve Charles (pictured) goals and a Nathan Barnes Lowe strike.
That defeat made for a pointless first three games for Georgians but they have bounced back since then and arrive in Prestwich on the back of three successive league wins and success in the Stockport Senior Cup. Eighteen goals have been scored in that run.
Added to the closeness of the that earlier meeting it points to the game being a big threat to the unbeaten start for Heys.
