First team travel to Stockport Town whilst Reserves have home cup derby with Walshaw

Heys fans are spoilt for choice tomorrow night with both teams involved in eye catching matches.

The 1st team travel to Stockport Town in the Hallmark Security League Division One, kick off 8pm.

Stockport came 4th in their first season in the League last season but were then beaten in the Play Off semi-finals by Bacup.

They opened this season with a 4-3 home defeat to Chadderton before then beating Carlisle City, again at home, 3-1.

Last Friday night they travelled to early leaders City of Liverpool but were beaten 4-2, a result that sees them in 17th place.

Heys are unbeaten in their last three games and will be looking to continue their steady climb up the table that sees them in 8th place.

Stockport play at Lambeth Grove, Woodley, Stockport, SK6 1QX

Telephone: 0161 494 3146

Admission Prices: £5 Adults, £2 Kids, £2 concessions

Directions: Stockport Town Football Club is located at Stockport Sports Village, Lambeth Grove Woodley, SK6 1QX. The ground lies a short distance from the M60. To reach us from the motorway, you should leave at Junction 25, which is signposted for Bredbury. Follow signs from here for the A560 towards Bredbury and Sheffield. Just after passing the McDonalds Drive-Thru, take a left at the traffic lights and proceed down Stockport Road towards Woodley, passing both Morrisons and Homebase on your left before passing under the railway bridge at Bredbury Railway Station.

For those Heys fans who want to stay nearer home the Reserves have a home Gilgryst Cup derby with Walshaw Sports at Adie Moran Park (6.30pm).

The competition, which Heys 1st team won last season, has been revamped this season with all the teams from the Premier Division and Division One entering. Whilst the winners continue in the Gilgryst the losers go into the Murray Shield, which was originally only for 1st Division sides.

Tony Hanson's side take a 100% league record into the game and will now be looking to test themselves against higher division opposition.

Walshaw have made a slow start to the season, collecting one point from their four games, against Hindsford on Saturday.

As history shows though the form book counts for nothing in the cup and especially when it's a derby to boot.

Heys fans take your pick!
