Saturday, Adie Moran Park, 2pm.

Heys Reserves welcome AFC Monton to Adie Moran Park on Saturday needing three wins from their last six games to clinch the league Title. (Kick off 2pm)

After a season spent in the top two positions Jeff Kavanagh’s side can see the finish line in sight and with four of their remaining matches at home will hope they can get the points to reward their hard work over the season.

Two of those games are against Monton, with the teams set to meet again at New Alder Park on 16th May, the last day of the season.

Monton are presently fourth from bottom with ten matches to play but with seven of those at home will hope to make use of their games in hand to climb away from the lower reaches.

Not that their away form has been too bad with four wins and draw from their ten games.

A lack consistency has been an issue for them. For example, in the past month they have lost 7-0 at Royton but won 3-0 at Rochdale Sacred Heart, both sides being in the top five.

Whichever Monton side turn up, Heys know their destiny is in their own hands and the message they go out with will surely be to go and do what they have been doing all season and finish the job.
