Open Trophy Final Preview

Heys Reserves go seeking silverware on Wednesday night when they face Rochdale Sacred Heart Reserves in the Open Trophy Final.

Amidst all the excitement of the 1st team's title success it musn't be overlooked that Matt Jolly's side are in the hunt for a League and Cup double.

They come up against a Rochdale side that could stop them on both counts. Remarkably, with the season in it's final weeks the teams have to play each other three times and both could achieve the double.

Rochdale are presently third in the table, twelve points behind table topping Heys with a game in hand and of course there are two League meetings to come between the pair.

They go into the game having won seven of their last nine league matches whilst booking their place in the Final with a 6-1 semi final win over AFC Monton.

Heys too enter the game in good form. With only defeat all season, they have bounced back from that single setback to win their last four games scoring 17 goals in the process.

The game is at Trafford FC, Shawe View, Pennybridge Lane, Urmston, M41 5D.

Kick off is 7.45pm.

ADMISSION: £5 ADULTS, CONCESSIONS £1
