Heys Reserves opened up a ten point lead at the top of the table with a 4-2 win at Champions Rochdale Sacred Heart today.
With their closest challengers without fixtures Jeff Kavanagh's team capitilised in full but were made to fight all the way by their hosts.
An own goal and Steve Charles' 15th goal of the season gave Heys a 2-0 half time lead but Hearts hit back to level by the hour.
However, Heys rallied again and Matt Jolly and Jordan Lloyd both scored to secure the points and send their team into the second half of the campaign in a strong position. at the top.
