Saturday 12th April, Grimshaw Park, 2pm.

With no first team game the spotlight falls on the Reserves tomorrow afternoon when they commence the run-in to the end of the season at home to Manchester Gregorians Reserves.

Although hopes of winning the title appear to have gone Manager Jeff Kavanagh will be looking to his young side to finish the season strongly and ensure at least a top three finish, having been in the leading positions all season.

Gregorians have had an indifferent season and sit fourth from bottom but are well clear of relegation danger. Despite some heavy defeats they are capable as shown by their 5-0 win over Hindsford three weeks ago.

When the teams played at Platt Lane early in the season Heys were 4-3 winners in a game that saw them saw field three goalkeepers, two outfield.

A similar outcome, if not scenario, will be welcome tomorrow..
