Junior reporter Jack Gardiner reports from Adie Moran Park (Gaz Massey look away now)

Heys took three points from a crucial game at the top.

Gregorians cannot win the League now as this was their final league game.

The first half was the half with the most chances, the first of them came from a poor defensive Gary Massey header and the Gregs number 11 pounced on it but volleyed wide.

Massey was also in trouble minutes later with an awful back pass to worry any manager. He definitely got an earful from his manager.

In the 27th minute Heys took the lead when Mark Powell headed in a delightful corner from Danny Eyres.

Heys had a chance to finish the game with a chance from Steve Charles in the 41st minute as he danced through challengers but scuffed his chance at the last moment.

The second half wasn't as exciting as the first. The chances weren't coming as quick although Heys had all the play.

Heys were caught napping in the 82nd minute when number 9 went through. He then chipped Jack O'Brien but Massey acrobatically cleared off the line but there to fire home was number 11.

Two minutes later Heys replied courtesy of Danny Eyres. Fitton put the ball in and Eyres was on hand to place the ball in the empty net.

Heys now are one point off the title. I am sure they will win it.
