Junior reporter Jack Gardiner gives his take on Heys loss to Hindsford

It was game of missed chances from Heys perspective, as chances flew by in both halves, especially in the first half.

The first one in the 13th minute by Danny Eyres as he selfishly shot himself even though he had two players positioned for a tap in.

Nine minutes later Shaun Johnson was one on one, like Eyres, but he had no support so shot but for the second time the ‘keeper made the save.

The 3rd chance was in the 32nd minute but for the third time the goalie made the save with George Powell the unlucky man this time.

The second half was a different story as Hindsford came out with more passion and belief.

It showed on the score line as Hindfsford number 11, Chris Hopwood, pounced on some bobbles on the edge of the box and calmly went round Sadler to score.

The last chance of the game came to Heys in the 94th minute as Ryan McGreevy headed the ball into the goalkeeper’s hands.

So the first game of Heys promotion push ends in defeat and they will have to bounce back quickly.
