After their 2-1 Preliminary round win over Litherland, Jon Lyons side will now face a side they first encountered on the opening day of the season at Adie Moran Park.

Widnes were 3-1 winners that day but they did not go on to display the potential they showed that afternoon. That led to a change of Manger with former Runcorn Linnets and Warrington boss Joey Dunn taking the helm.

He has brought an immediate upturn in results including the 4-1 win over Oswestry in the Qualifying round of the Reusch Cup.
