End of matched funding

Matched Funding has ended for the Grow Your Tenner scheme.

Grow Your Tenner is linked to the Cabinet Office backed Localgiving.com programme which provides a fund raising portal for small clubs, groups and charities.

For every ten pounds donated the programme matched it and with Gift Aid added Heys had the potential to receive £21.55 in total.

The scheme allows up to £12,500 in matched funding for the club, with the overall pot available nationally being £500,000 which has now run out.

The club has raised £1,265. A huge thank you to all those of you who have donated. It is greatly appreciated.

You can still donate but there will be no matched funding. However, further initiatives under the scheme will arise.

Funds raised will go towards improving facilities and infrastructure at the club to help us progress on and off the field. Plans for dressing rooms are with the Council now, pending approval and if gained will be on site early in the New Year. Money raised here will contribute to the costs involved.

The club has it's own fundraising portal which can be found at

How it works:
1. Follow the link to the above site.

2. Click donate now

3. Input how much you wish to donate. You can donate as much or as little as you wish. However, the club only gets matched for £10 so if you wished to make a £30 donation you will make more money for the club by making 3 separate £10 donations rather than one.

4. Enter your e-mail address which will allow for a receipt to be sent to you.

5. You can choose to donate and remain anonymous by clicking the box. You then will be asked for your payment card details.

6. Proceed to the Gift Aid pages which allow to receipt an extra income on your donation.

Please support the club now in this important fund raising venture before the pot runs out!
